What you type
When you test a subject line or grade an email, the text is sent to our server, graded, and the result is sent back to you. We do not save what you type, and we do not ask for your name or email address. There are no accounts.
The Email Address Checker is the one tool that looks something up elsewhere. It sends only the domain of each address you paste (the part after the @, such as company.com) to the public Domain Name System (DNS), and to rdap.org, a public service that finds the domain’s registration date. The name before the @ is never sent anywhere, the address is never emailed, and none of it is saved or logged.
Technical logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard technical records, such as which page was requested, when, and from which internet address. These help keep the service running and secure. They do not include the text you grade.
Cookies and advertising
Our tools do not set cookies of their own. Some pages show ads from Google, and those ads can use cookies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Children
These tools are made for working adults and are not directed to children under 13.
